Mandatory Informational Session Set for December 16 to Guide Applicants Through Process

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County officials have announced the launch of a new Community Funding Program designed to support local nonprofit initiatives, with a mandatory informational session scheduled for December 16 at the Department of Social Services building.

The “Go Live Session” will provide Cumberland County-based organizations with essential information about eligibility requirements, application procedures, and the online portal through which all funding requests must be submitted. Attendance is required for any organization wishing to apply for funding through the new program.

The session will include a comprehensive overview of the program, step-by-step instructions for navigating the funding portal, and a live question-and-answer period with program coordinators. Digital navigators will be on site to provide technical assistance to attendees, who are encouraged to bring laptops to begin the application process during the session.
